Alot of unfinished projects!

So up untill now I have alot of unfinished projects. It has to do with another project with much more priority. Our final school project. Even so I still managed to make some more side projects that still needs alot of work. We just had our easter vaction and I figured I'd practice texturing. So I found my target and it is the sword from the series Berserk (yes I make alot of objects from variouse anime/manga). The sword is named Dragon Slayer since its purpose is to kill dragons. Funny enough the main encounters enemies far more dangerouse than dragons.

I saw this image on google and thought "wow". So now with this small project I tend to recreate this image in my own vision.

Here is what I have at the moment. Well it's not the final render since I have made a few changes on it to correct it. I'm pretty satisfied on how the texture came out. Not like what I'm uesd in doing with clean and smooth surfaces.

Now for something else. I have also created a Fabergè Egg. It's still a work in progress as all the other projects I have. I figured I'd make something for easter, but I went overboard and made something else. At least it's an egg.
For this one I tend to make a more realistic feel to it. As of now you don't feel that yet since I haven't added reflections and depth of field. I plan to work more on the model as I'm not happy with the way it is now. It still need a little more accessorize, but not too much. As I want it to be simple and clean. Not like any other eggs you see with crazy spikes that can kill.
